one of my family's closet friend just so happens to be gay and he is such an awesome guy. when he first figured out he was gay, he was terrified. if a teen is already in a weakened state, they are only more vulnerable to the harsh bullying found in middle and high schools. it is depressing to even think that these teenagers will never get to enjoy a life or even a complete childhood due to this bullying. there is no way you should be able to judge someone on their beliefs or race. it is awful to think that kids could push their peers to such extremes. if i were one of the bullies, i would feel as if i had just murdered someone. i cannot understand for the life of me how some of these students could be so unkind, but not even unkind, just down right villainous.being gay is not a life decision, you are just born that way. bullying like this is saying that they do not have a place in our society and that is not right. i personally would like to ask everyone who is reading this to dedicate a blog post to promote awareness of these awful events and challenge your own followers to do the same if they believe in the cause. I believe that we cant change the world but the least we can do is raise awareness. Thank you.
Love & Moments of Silence, our thoughts will be with you,
